An Evening of Music & Poetry

An evening of music and poetry at Compassionate Ocean Zen Center in Northeast Minneapolis, celebrating our 25th anniversary. A select group of musicians and poets will perform, flowing seamlessly from one to the next throughout the Zendo–creating a river of artistic expression.

The evening begins with acclaimed author and poet Wang Ping reading from her new book “The River Within”, accompanied by guitarist and collaborator Jeff Lambert. The second set features jazz musician and composer Davu Seru filling the space with resonant vibrations from a Dora gong.
